Cancellation and Insurance

Cancellation Policy

If you wish to cancel your attendance at Gothic after you have paid for your ticket please let us know as soon as possible. We will work with you to try to find someone who will take over your ticket. In the first instance we will ask your co-players from your run; failing that we will go to our waiting list. Any replacement participant will need to be approved by both the organisers and by other players.

Assuming we are able to find a suitable replacement then:

Up to two months before the event:
We will refund your money less an administrative fee of €100

Up to one month before the event:
We will refund 50% of the cost of the ticket

Less that a month before the event, or if a replacement player cannot be found:
We will not be able to offer a refund

We strongly recommend that you take out the necessary insurance to cover the cost of your ticket and travel in case you are unable to attend.

Event Insurance

Avalon larp studio takes out insurance on our events in order to cover various unforseen circumstances and liabilities. The cost of this insurance is included in the ticket price. We note that it does not cover cancellation due to future pandemics.
